Use of Google Ads Coversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, in the context of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use Google Ads to advertise our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Adwords). In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. In this way we pursue the aim of displaying advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad ad displayed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user has clicked on the ad and been redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and been directed to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can block this usage by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie on your web browser under the keyword "User Preferences". You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. We use Google Ads because of our legitimate interest in targeted advertising in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. In order to exercise your revocation, deactivate this service in the "Cookie-Consent-Tool" provided on the website or alternatively follow the above-mentioned procedure for making an objection.

Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform of the operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").

GMP uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are shown in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown more than once. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

In addition, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that relate to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a GMP advertisement and later, using the same browser, calls up the advertiser's website and makes a purchase via this website. According to Google, GMP cookies contain no personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of these tools and therefore inform you as follows according to our state of knowledge: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can allocate the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and save your IP address. In the context of the use of GMP, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

If you wish to object to this tracking procedure, you can deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com (see https://www.google.de/settings/ads), this setting will be deleted when you deactivate your cookies. Alternatively, you can contact the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info to find out how to set cookies and to adjust your desired settings. Finally, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.

You can obtain further information about the data protection regulations of GMP by Google at the following Internet address: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data as described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. In order to exercise your revocation, please follow the above-mentioned procedure for lodging an objection.

Our website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing, hereby we advertise this website in Google search results, as well as on third party websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your terminal device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Any further data processing will only take place if you have agreed with Google that your internet and app browsing history will be linked by Google to your Google Account and that information from your Google Account will be used to personalise the ads you view on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form target groups. In the course of using Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

You can permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Remarketing by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/

Further information and the data protection regulations regarding advertising and Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/

Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data as described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. In order to exercise your revocation, deactivate this service in the "Cookie-Consent-Tool" provided on the website or alternatively follow the above-mentioned procedure for making an objection.

Web analysis by Matomo (formerly PIWIK)

Our website uses the web analysis service Matomo, from InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, which enables the cross-page recognition of the user to analyse user behaviour. This allows us to find out when which pages were accessed, which regions they come from and which actions the user has performed (e.g. clicks or purchases).

The following usage data is processed: Two bytes of the IP address of your accessing system, the website accessed and the website from which you were redirected to the accessed website (referrer URL), subpages of our website visited, location data (based on the anonymised IP address), user times, dwell times and visit frequencies and browser/device data.

The usage information collected (including your truncated IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored. Your IP address is anonymised so that the data cannot be assigned to an identifiable person and the individual user remains anonymous. The usage data collected is not passed on to third parties.

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our recording purposes. You can find more information on the storage period here.

Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)

This website uses the Facebook/Meta visitor action pixel to measure conversions. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

This allows the behaviour of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy ( de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This enables Facebook to place adverts on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the website operator.

The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

We use the advanced matching function within the meta pixel.

Enhanced matching enables us to transmit various types of data (e.g. place of residence, federal state, postcode, hashed email addresses, names, gender, date of birth or telephone number) of our customers and interested parties that we collect via our website to Meta (Facebook). This activation enables us to tailor our advertising campaigns on Facebook even more precisely to people who are interested in our offers. In addition, the extended synchronisation improves the allocation of website conversions and expands custom audiences.

Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its transfer to Facebook. The processing carried out by Facebook after forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in an agreement on joint processing. The text of the agreement can be found at: www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for the secure implementation of the tool on our website in accordance with data protection law. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) regarding the data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert your data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.

The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

You can find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information: de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also deactivate the remarketing function ‘Custom Audiences’ in the settings for adverts at www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Facebook Conversion API

We have integrated Facebook Conversion API on this website. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

Facebook Conversion API enables us to record the website visitor's interactions with our website and pass them on to Facebook in order to improve advertising performance on Facebook.

In particular, the time of the call, the website called up, your IP address and your user agent and, if applicable, other specific data (e.g. products purchased, value of the shopping basket and currency) are recorded. You can find a complete overview of the data that can be collected here: developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/parameters.

The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
